Everything Needs Saving

"Everything Calls for Salvation" – Daniele Mencarelli is a powerful psychological and emotional novel about the fragility of the human mind and the inner struggle to find meaning, calm and hope.

The story follows a young man who, after an emotional outburst and a severe personal crisis, ends up admitted to a psychiatric ward. Within this closed world, he confronts not only his own fears and pain, but also the stories of other patients who carry deep wounds and broken lives.

Through heartfelt dialogue, painful moments and honest reflections, the novel shows how a person can feel lost even among others, yet how human connection, empathy and acceptance can become a form of salvation.

This book is a moving account of depression, anxiety, loneliness and the universal need to be understood and to live with dignity, turning suffering into an opportunity to rise again.
