Physiological psychology is a scientific discipline within psychology that studies the physiological basis of the organism's mental processes and behaviour – more precisely, it investigates the natural mechanisms of processes and behaviour by studying the connection between human mental life (behaviour) and the physiological (neurological) processes in the body.
